LOOK WHO ESCAPED

My friends and I had so much fun. We tried out The Experiment, which was super interesting and challenging. The clock started to run down but we made it out with 11 minutes to spare. Will definitely have to try another one!

We had a lot of fun escaping the experiment room. Very cool concept. Each puzzle led to next until we escaped. Can't wait to try the other rooms. Highly recommend for a hour of fun!

We did Weird Heritage and the Dark Room and they were both awesome! We definitely needed some help to get going but it was so much fun. The puzzles were all really unique and the backstories were cool. I was worried initially that some of the people in the group wouldn’t be into it but everyone had a lot of fun. Also, because the tasks were so varied, everyone got their moment to be the “hero” since we’re all good at different things. It was a really great group activity that I highly recommend.

This place is AMAZING! The puzzles were hard, but fun! The owner/operator was extremely kind and helpful. I would recommend ROOM 5280 for anyone 12 and older. I will definitely be coming back :)

Our family was in town and looking for something to do to kill some time. We did the experiment room and had a great time. Our host was very good and amusing. We did escape with a few hints from the host. It was the first escape room experience for most in our group, and they all loved it. I would highly recommend.

We had such a great time that we did two rooms. We'll definitely be going back to do the rest. The front door puzzle was by far the hardest.

The Value of Team Building

Turning a group of highly competitive employees into a cohesive working team can sometimes be a daunting process for any growing company, which is why the close interaction and collaboration that employees or any group of people engage in during team building activities is essential. Well-organized team building activities for work involve structured events and exercises that allows a group of different personalities to work together interdependently and cooperatively with one objective in mind: Work together cohesively, with a dedicated focus of achieving an organization’s key goals.

Are you looking for fun team building activities or things to do in Boulder? You can accomplish the goal of a cohesive team by structuring group activities or fun team building exercises that all members in your company can do together and enjoy. For example, you may have new members in your group who would like to explore some of Boulder tourist attraction sites such as the

  • Chautauqua Park that offers breath-taking hiking sceneries
  • The 3 miles long Mount Sanitas Trailhead
  • Hiking and biking spots for group activities in Red Rocks Park
  • Ski trip at Eldora
  • A free tour of Boulder’s Coors brewery, Redstone Meadery, Wild Woods Brewery, etc
  • The Fiske Planetarium
  • Visit the Boulder museum of contemporary art
  • Ignite your adventurous spirit if you a penchant for problem-solving at the Boulder Escape Room

As you can see, you do not need to have a facilitated meeting place to motivate a team to move forward, and consequently, increase in cohesiveness and effectiveness. There are many Boulder attractions spot to keep you and your squad well-occupied for an entire weekend, just don’t forget to go back to work on Monday from all the fun you will have. Fun team building Boulder activities will definitely inspire every person in your group to want to perform at their best because they will enjoy the benefits of being on a strong team.

Whether you are planning indoor team building activities such as the Boulder Escape Room challenge, it is crucial to develop group activities that can help your team establish emotional intelligence so that they can recognize areas of weakness and assume responsibility for changing their individual behaviors. Any team will stand a great chance of creating a positive work environment even if they have different behavioral norms from each other, only when they are committed to change and if the company allocates plenty of time for problem-solving sessions with fun team building activities for work.

The one caveat you need to remember is that team building activities can have a positive impact when they are tailored to the needs of your group. Therefore, to create a capable team that produces positive outcomes in today’s ultra-competitive labor market, your role as the leader is to set boundaries but adopt an open-door policy at the same time where your team can voice their opinions and ideas. This way, whatever team building Boulder activities to organize, they will be in for a great ride.
